Wealreadyhadabeachtripearlierthisyear(welovethebeach!),andarehopingtosqueezeinmorebeforethesummer’sover(althoughlivingintheislandparadisethatwedo,whosayswereallyneedtosticktosummer!).Abiggertripisalreadyintheworksforlaterthisyear(itwillbeourfirsttimetotraveloutsidethecountryjustthefourofus!).Meanwhile,Iamhopingtosneakinshorterandsimplerjauntsclosertohome. OurweekendinTagaytaywasonesuchmini-jaunt….achanceforaquickbutfunweekendescapenuskin. Tagaytayisaneasyweekend(orevendaytrip)destinationforuswearycityfolk.Relativelysimpletogetto,acarrideofanhourandahalforless,withvariousroutes(ifyou’reinterestedinalternateroutesletmeknow…myhubsistheexpert!).Whenyouarrivetherearealotofthingsforallagestoenjoy.Restaurantsaplentycoveringmanycuisines,witheverythingfromtheubiquitous“bulalo”houses(amustinmybook!Alsotawilis!)tofinediningestablishments.Therearespaswherecouples(orsingles!)canhideawayfortheweekend,andparkswherekidscanrunaround.And,ofcourse,findinganicecozyseatwithaview,tosipsomethingwarmandrevivifyingwhilegazingatTaallakeanditsfamouscrater.Listingallthethingstodowouldtakeupawholeotherpost(maybeforanothertime?)!
